Electronic Leak Detection

Electronic leak detection stands as a pivotal advancement in the realm of roofing and waterproofing, revolutionizing the way leaks are identified and managed. This technology employs specialized equipment that systematically scans roofing membranes and waterproofing layers, utilizing electrical currents to locate breaches, punctures, or defects that might otherwise remain hidden from sight. By detecting minute variations in conductivity caused by the presence of moisture, electronic leak detection provides unparalleled accuracy in pinpointing the exact source of leaks. This method not only expedites the detection process but also minimizes the need for invasive exploratory work, reducing potential damage and costs. In an industry where early leak detection is paramount to preserving structural integrity and preventing water damage, electronic leak detection emerges as a vital tool, ensuring the longevity and reliability of roofing and waterproofing systems.

IntegriScan™

Detec’s IntegriScan is the most advanced and accurate Electronic Leak Detection (ELD) testing method available.

Electronic Leak Detection

The portable IntegriScan confirms waterproofing membranes are free of breaches, holes, or seam voids during construction and can be used to locate active leaks in existing buildings.

Low Voltage

The low voltage IntegriScan scanning platform tests horizontals and is the only method capable of testing semi-conductive membranes including black EPDM

The IntegriScan complies with ASTM Practice D8231 and ASTM Guide D7877.  The IntegriScan is also the only FM Approved Electronic Leak Detection testing equipment.
